Medan – Sabtu, 29 Oktober 2022. Universitas Sumatera Utara held an international seminar entitled “The 2nd International Conference on Natural Resources and Sustainable Development (ICNRSD 2022)” virtually. In this event, Universitas Medan Area was represented by Mr. Zulfikar, ST. MT. who presented the results of research in the field of Natural Materials entitled “Natural Fiber Composites for the Improvement of the Strength of Column Concrete Structures“. This study has been carried out for approximately 2 years and is still continuing with the topic of alternative materials for reinforcing cylindrical column concrete structures with reinforcement from jute laminated composites. In this event, articles are submitted to the Environmental Issue Session.
